Registration

If you are in the clinic, we will guide you through this.

Run the app and follow the directions to verify your lock code.

Scan your letter using the app registration screen when prompted.

Now you're ready to start logging.

Infusions

Record your infusions by tapping the "+" button in the upper right corner of the app. Tap "Factor infusion" in the displayed menu.

Enter how you're infusing and why, following the onscreen directions.

For some products: you can scan the boxes you use in an infusion and much of this information will be entered for you.

Make sure you hit Done to save your infusion to the research servers.

Activities

Record activities you do by tapping the "+" button in the upper right corner of the app, then tapping "Life Activity".

Answer the questions about when you did the activity, how long, and how intense the activity is. If you suffered pain or a noticeable bleed or other injury, please also log a bleed entry.

Hemophiliacs can suffer bleeds by many forms of physical activity: Please try to add things like "Carry in the Groceries", "Walk for 1/2 a mile", and "Wrestled with my little sister", even if it never causes bleeds for you.

These activities may still be using up factor in your blood and may need to be considered when recommending a better plan for your infusions.

We are *not* trying to make you avoid or fear these activities: we want to make it so you can preparing your body for them and do them.

Bleeds

Record your bleeds by tapping the "+" button in the upper right corner of the app then tapping "Bleed" in the displayed menu.

Answer the questions about the circumstances surrounding how the bleed occurred. If this is happening at a location on your body that it has before, tap the switch by "Ongoing Bleed" then select which bleed entry you filled in last time.

If you haven't filled in that bleed (perhaps because it happened before the study began), please do so now by hitting the "Select previous" button, then hitting the "+" button in the upper right, and specify approximately when it happened before in a new bleed entry, save that one, then go back to completing the initial entry.

You can edit a bleed entry by tapping it on the main screen, changing things about it, then hitting Done.
